About the Author

Molly Ryan (she/her) is a PhD student in Rhetoric and Writing at Virginia Tech, an instructor in the first-year writing program, and the Director of the Academy for Outstanding Graduate Pedagogy. Molly’s research interests include higher education leadership and policy, student-centered pedagogy in the writing classroom, and the applicability of WPA training to higher education administration. Molly’s work has appeared in Kairos, The Sandbox, and elsewhere.
