About the Author
Gideon Nyarko is a PhD student in Technical Communication and Rhetoric at Texas Tech University. He earned his Master’s degree in Rhetoric and Professional Communication from New Mexico State University. His research explores digital rhetoric, multimodal communication, and user experience (UX), with a focus on environmental and health communication in the Global South. He is particularly interested in how communities use social media and culturally grounded communication practices to engage in activism and advocate for social change.
